I was all too excited when I got my case in the mail!
I was also excited that my phone was pretty low on battery so I could see how long it takes to charge a phone.
Check that out! Just about an hour and a half to go from 30% to 100% and all that while I was able to carry it in my pocket and go about my errands!
There are only a couple cons to the case.... it is a little bit longer and heavier than other cases I have. Here are a couple pics to compare the Atomic S and the Slim Case

Overall I am in love with the case. It is so nice to not have to worry about having a cord at all times. I can go to the mall for the day and know I will not get upset over a dead battery on my phone.
Now to the BEST part.... your chance to win one of your own!!!
Reminder this is for iPhone 5 or 5s, this does not fit 5c or any of the iPhone 4 sizes.

Boubeads Review and Giveaway!

I love nursing necklaces and I mean LOVE them. Maycee is at that age where she gets distracted or pinchy while nursing. So much fun when we are out in public and all of a sudden POP off she goes to see something... um thanks little lady! She also loves being able to play with my necklaces while being held. During worship at church she listens to the music and plays with whatever I am wearing. So I went searching for something new. I have some Mommy Necklaces and those work but all mine are plastic looking and I wanted something different. I also have some silicone ones (which I also get to do a review on) but I wanted something original. Then I found boubeads I loved the colors and options they had. I was so excited when they said they would make me a custom triple strand necklace AND offered to let me do a giveaway also!!!

Here is a little back story on boubeads (taken from boubeads blog)
"For those of you who aren't familiar with our story we would like to share it with you. We started our business in December 2012 mostly on accident. We are twins and moms in our mid-twenties and we both have beautiful boys. Chancie's son is four years old and Chandace's son is nine months old.....
As we developed and created several different prototypes we decided that we wanted to dye our own beads and we wanted to make them fashionable enough for any woman to wear, not just moms who were breastfeeding their children. We found quality suppliers and got to work."

As soon as I opened my package I was in love.
Check out these colors!
I was able to pick my own custom necklace. I messaged them with two necklaces I liked and told them to just make something awesome... and boy did they ever!
I couldn't wait to wear it the next time Maycee needed to nurse. As soon as I put it on Maycee started to explore the necklace. She was rolling the beads in-between her fingers and feeling the soft fabric. The necklace is not intended as a teething necklace, however since boubeads uses non toxic dyes and baby is under adult supervision it is ok for baby to put it in their mouth as an adult wears it. Safety first :) Alright onto some great pics.
Maycee had no issues at all holding and yanking the beads as she nursed. The necklace stood up to all the torture perfectly!
I also took some without Maycee so you could see how the necklace lays.
LOVE! Don't you?! I mean the colors pop so beautifully and since it is custom made it is a one of a kind :)
Alright now onto the real reason you are reading this far the GIVEAWAY!

Toy/Bottle Leash GIVEAWAY!

Hey all time for another giveaway!! This time it is a toy/bottle leash by Lil' Things. I found Aimee on Facebook when I was looking at her GrubBeads necklaces and saw she also did bottle/sippy cup leashes. Aimee was great to work with and offered to send me a leash and also offered to send a reader one too! Awesome right!? So I looked through her fabric pictures and found this great rainbow chevron- since chevron is the it fabric lately I picked this! And picked a green backing on it.
As soon as I picked my style it was only 2 days before she had it shipping to me! I was so excited to get it. Maycee doesn't use bottles or a sippy cup yet but I am always looking for something for the carseat to keep toys close for her. I know they make hanging car seat toys, but I know some are dangerous because they are hard- if they would fall off and hit baby in the head they could get hurt. And being in Wisconsin I want her to be able to keep her hands inside her carseat.
So it was about 2 days later and I got my shipment in the mail! I had to wait an extra day because of a snow storm and not wanting to walk down the driveway lol
I was excited to open my leash and put it straight to use! The fabric is nice and durable and the colors are bright. Aimee had a bunch of fabric options is was so hard to choose.
Each leash comes with simple instructions with pictures on how to attach it to a suction cup (additional $2 charge), which I just adapted to attach to the car seat.
I immediately attached it to Maycee's car seat cover!
I noticed how long it was. Laying out from end to end it is about 20 inches. The only downfall with it attached to the carseat is that sometimes that allows the toys to hit the ground. However Aimee's main use for these is to attach the suction cup to a high chair or stroller so that the cup does not hit the ground. This would be the perfect length for that so that you can have the cup out of the way, yet baby can still reach and use his or her cup.
I was easily able to attach different shape and sizes of toys to the leash.... Here is one of Maycee's christmas presents.
And here is her favorite wooden teether with crinkle
The velcro is super strong and I have not had any issues with it coming undone or slipping at all.
Here is how it looks all attached to the car seat.
I can easily strap the toy on and give it to Maycee inside the seat and she can play and be happy while we drive :) Every moms dream is a quiet happy baby while driving! Am I right?!?!
Now onto the great news Lil' Things by Aimee agreed to also let one of my lucky readers win a leash of their own!! Fill out the form below for your chance to win!

http://mamakandherkrew.blogspot.com/2013/12/hallelujah-baby-review-and-giveaway.html

Speaking of giveaways.... I never mentioned on here I won a HUGE giveaway!!! Bluum (https://www.bluum.com) was running a giveaway sponsored by Angel Dear of a $200 gift certificate to the Angel Dear website (http://www.angeldear.net).
We LOVE angel dear at this house so I figured why not try to win. All the kids lovies are from here. Aryssa's pink monkeys, Carson's blue hippos and Maycee's hot pink owls. I think I entered on one of the last days and my #709 entry was the winner!! I was in shock!! What a giveaway to win! And with my new nephew going to be born any day it was perfect! I immediately started my wish list and waited for my email gift certificate number. $200 is a lot of money! I was overwhelmed. I finally got my order together and hit submit :) right now I am stalking the UPS website for tracking info

Snuggled up so peacefully with her owl :)
I can't wait to show and share what I got!! And can't wait to give my sister a nice huge gift too :)

Thank you Bluum and Angel Dear!!!

Hallelujah baby review and giveaway!

I had never heard of hallelujah baby until I met them at our church's craft fair a couple weeks ago. They make kids and adult shirts that have scripture on them! How awesome is that! What a great way to spread God's word! There are a couple snipits I took from their website....

Wearing the Word!
Keep your little one clothed in God's Word!  Adorable clothing includes baby onesies and toddler tees that proclaim Scripture, along with beautiful designs.  Celebrate life and children!
Our super comfy clothes are tagless, spacious, breathable, and perfect for all seasons!  A portion of all sales benefit Families of Children with Cancer, Inc.  Baby Blessings!

Wearing the Word!  Built as a testimony to God's glory, Hallelujah Baby was founded by our family, inspired by Scripture and the joy of our children!  We started our online store from our home here in Neenah, Wisconsin.  When we began this venture, we asked God to direct every step of the way.  We would not force anything.  Our family and friends prayed as each door opened, and we followed where He guided, from the foundation of the company to every event.

So of course I had to buy a shirt... I picked this gem out for Maycee
"I am fearfully and wonderfully made" psalm 139:14
Check out that screen print.... Beautiful.

After I got home I reached out to crystal to see if she would want to do a giveaway on here.... Yay she agreed! So I picked out a shirt for Carson (which was given to me for free) and then also bought one for Aryssa. Check these out!
"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord" psalms 150:6
Right! Again the screen print is perfect and so cute. I love that Maycee will be able to wear this one she gets older too!
And of course Aryssa's! Hallelujah!
hal·le·lu·jah
ˌhaləˈlo͞oyə/
exclamation
exclamation: hallelujah; exclamation: alleluia
1.
God be praised (uttered in worship or as an expression of rejoicing).
"He is risen! Alleluia!"
noun
noun: hallelujah; plural noun: hallelujahs; noun: alleluia; plural noun: alleluias
1.
an utterance of the word “hallelujah” as an expression of worship or rejoicing.
a piece of music or church liturgy containing this.
noun: Alleluia

Hallelujah is such a "big" word. To know you are saying God be praised is so awesome!

Each shirt has the brand name on the back
(Maycee's is the same green print)
Subtle yet cute!

My opinion-- these shirts are great, they are amazing quality and have stood up well to Maycee spitting up on and being washed 3 times already. The shirts are "college kids" brand and are very true to size. Maycee is in a 3-6 month onsie, Carson a 3t and Aryssa's is a 5/6t. All the sizes they wear. I have found nothing I didn't like about them, I mean really what is not to like about a shirt sharing Gods word?!
Carson loves the animals on his shirt, and aryssa loves the packer colors :) I love that they are also unisex Maycee will be able to wear Carson's shirt and Carson can wear Aryssa's shirt!
Now onto the great part.... You can win a shirt of your choice!
