What day is it?!

I can't seem to figure out what day it is today! With Christmas being on a Wednesday Grant had Christmas Eve and Christmas day off, so now I keep thinking today is Monday! Either way I declared today jammie day at the Kolbe house! The kids are in pjs and exploring all the new stuff they got. I am beyond blessed and totally spoiled this year. Grant got me a MacBook Air!!!! I am in love! I have never had a laptop/macbook ever. Grant has had some before but they were always cheaper ones. This baby is soooo nice! Like I said SPOILED! I am still getting used to typing on a computer again! All those years using my iPhone or iPad is hard to break. The most noticeable is the @ key isn't on the bottom row. lol I will get used to it soon I am sure. But if you have any tips or tricks for macbook air let me know! I love researching and learning new stuff about my electronics. I had gotten Grant a bunch of grilling stuff and told him he can get the NFL ticket again next year. I have to say he is the best gift giver ever... he always seems to get the perfect things. Here is a cute picture of the kids before we let them open presents
We did our Christmas on Christmas Eve morning because we don't have anywhere to be until later in the afternoon, and Christmas day we had to be in Hilbert by noon. Plus we don't "do" santa anyway so we can give gifts whenever we want! The kids loved all their gifts. I realized I didn't even take pictures as they were opening, I was just in the moment watching them. I have to say those mental pictures are enough for me. Aryssa would open a present and then say "I love it, Thank you mom and dad" she loves giving compliments! After the gifts were all opened Grant headed outside to grill. He grilled up bacon and potatoes.... oh it was so yummy! I don't think any other bacon can compare to some that was made on a charcoal grill. I made some pancakes too that the kids were totally in love with. I think Carson ate at least 8 of them. In the afternoon we headed to my grandparents house for Christmas.... check out this cute family...
adorable! We stayed late and didn't get home until Midnight, so straight to bed it was. We had to be by Grant's parents by noon so it was nice to let the kids sleep in and slowly get ready to go. I have to say I love the holidays. Most times it is the only time we get to see some family...and when I hear people talking about canceling it I want to scream NO! You never know when it could be the last holiday together.... I cherish them :) A funny thing that we taught Aryssa... I never know what to say to people when they always ask "is/did Santa come?" she always said no but they would give her a puzzled look. So we talked with Aryssa reminding her we celebrate christmas because it is Jesus's birthday. So when I would ask her "Why do we celebrate Christmas?" she would say "it's Jesus's birthday". When we asked "who is Santa" her reply "no one, we celebrate Jesus.... Let's tell everyone about Jesus!" warms my heart! So I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and can cherish the memories you and yours made.
