Great dr appointment and last shot?!

Today I had a great drs appointment and today was officially my last 17p shot! I'm so excited and a little bit in disbelief that I am almost done with this pregnancy. I'm 35 1/2 weeks today, a week and a half away from full term.the kiddos had to come with to my appointment which I thought was just going to be a heartbeat check and questions.... But the nurse said oh we are doing the group b strep test today, is that ok? Whatever! I told aryssa dr Koehler had to check me out and she was to sit on the chair the whole time. Thankfully not too many questions have come from the appointment yet.after she did the test she also said she would check me just to see what was going on. I am 1 cm and firm yet which is always good! With Carson I was 1 cm at this time too. Actually I was 1 cm and "had a way to go" 3 days before my water broke! 

So anyway yes today was my last 17p shot. And it's funny because it was Grant's best shot yet! Lol last week he had a big gush of blood but this week perfection! Dr said if I wanted to take one next week I could but if I wanted to be done she was all for it. I said I'm done! Lol this was the exact same time I stopped with Carson so why change something that worked. I didn't have any other questions so we checked the heartbeat, which was great of course, and we were on our way.

I can't believe I am almost done with this pregnancy. Even if by some random act I make it to 39 weeks, that is still only 4 ish weeks away. Aryssa claims Maycee is coming the first week in August and I'm ok with that. But if baby needs to bake longer to avoid the nicu then bake baby bake! I am in a Facebook group of August 2013 moms and we actually have a bunch of moms that have already had babies! Just last night a mom - who is also in my December 2009 group- who was due a week ahead of me had her baby boy last night at 36 weeks. It seems so real seeing his pictures! I can't believe Maycee is going to be here soon! 

I told Grant he really needs to decide on that middle name. I had a dream the other night we had the baby but since grant hadn't decided on a middle name yet he just kept calling her a different name anytime a person walked in. She was also 6lbs 8 oz and 24 inches long--- I told my dr at my appointment and she laughed "I'm guessing she will be bigger than that" and she said she has never had a baby be that long, even with a severe cone head lol. So my subconscious must be telling me to get that named figured out! 

That's all the update I have for now.... Happy note I only gained 1 pound in two weeks :) which puts my total at 28 lbs.... Not too bad but I am going to have some work ahead of me after Maycee comes.
