Look what we did....

So last week aryssa's old babysitter texted me to see if she could take the kids today since hers didn't have school and she missed aryssa. She had watched aryssa from 12 weeks old until carson was born which was 2 years. Her whole family loves aryssa and were excited to have her and carson come over. She asked for Maycee too but I thought that would be a little much since she watches a 1 yr old also. So it was just me and maycee. 

I decided to go to the mall. Grant said if it was him he would have came home and nap, but not me I took full advantage of only having one kid by walking around he mall in piece! And while I was there I thought no time like the present to get Maycee's ears pierced!!! So I did!!! Here she is

She cried of course, but nothing horrible. I cuddled her and held her for a while and when she was all calm I put her in her car seat and she smiled at me :) then I found a comfy chair to nurse because everything is better with booby milk. I got her the august birthstone and it is a pretty green. 

I know not everyone is for getting little girls ears pierced but I don't see the harm. Some even go as far as comparing it to circumsition and saying it is body modification. What if she doesn't like them when she gets bigger- we will take them out. 

What if she hates you for it-- seriously?! 

Anyway we choose to get our daughters ears pierced and I don't care if anyone else does or does not. Personal choice! 

I think it looks adorable and we have never had any issues with aryssa's so keep the tradition alive!
