I had my 16 week appointment today and my re-training for giving myself my 17p shot. Dr apt went great I didn't gain any weight so still at 2 lbs gained overall and heartbeat was 150s. I had to go back later in the afternoon to get my shot because the nurse that does them wasn't in until them. So I had to bring the kids with :) as we were walking back to the room Aryssa let the nurse know I was getting a hot in my butt lol ! You have to do it in the muscle and the butt/ back fat works great. The nurses that heard her all giggled. Aryssa likes to know what is happening so I explained she was going to come and mommy was getting a shot and she wanted to know where so I told her. Silly girl! So the nurse went over how to give the shot and it was like riding a bike it all came back to me. She gave me my first one and it didn't hurt at all she was amazing. Hopefully grant does it just as painless.
Also I am looking for tips on drinking water!! I like water I have no issue drinking it, but I forget to drink during the day! I usually have one cup - either 7 or 9oz -of coffee every morning and then I just forget to drink during the day. I NEED to drink water I know this I can feel it that I need water but I just forget! A couple of times last week I was waking up with cramps and I think it was because I was dehydrated. This week I have been drinking a full glass of water an hour before going to bed and although I have to get up and pee I'm not getting cramps at night. So how do I remind myself... Is it just a habit I have to make... A routine that needs to be made regular? I have straw cups at home but those are not easy to take when we are out and about. So I bought a new bottle at target today with a twist top to make it easy to carry and bring with me EVERYWHERE. So any tips on a reward or something to make me drink more, or make me feel guilty for not drinking enough. I was admitted for a day at 35 weeks with Carson's pregnancy because of contractions brought on by dehydration and I don't want to do anything that could help preterm labor come on early. So I'm open for any tips!!!

Amy, do you have the iphone? There's a great app I used to help track my water intake called Water Your Body. I don't remember what I paid for it but it's great because you can put in info like you are pregnant, breastfeeding, etc and it will account for that when giving you a total. Check it out!
