Today my baby girl turns 3. From a preemie 5lb 4 oz 18 1/2 inch bundle to my beautiful 3 year old big girl. Words can't express the love and joy I feel when I see you smile or hear your contagious laugh. You love listening to stories and playing baby with mom and dad. I love seeing you being a mommy to your Rella, you feed her and change her diaper and when she is done you rock her to sleep. You are so proud of yourself that you use the potty all the time and want to do it all by yourself. My world was turned over the first time I saw you. The fear of the unknown was washed away with that first cry. You were my little peanut and my heart broke when we had to leave you at the hospital. Those were the longest 2 weeks of my life and words can't explain the feeling when I heard your nurse Nicole say "do you want to take your little girl home?" I still get emotional whenever I talk about it.
My little Aryssa Roo you make me so proud when you talk about church. You love going to your class and telling us what you learned. We read a bible story before bed and you can't wait to hear more. You love praying before we eat and we usually have to do it twice. You always thank god for daddy's work so that mommy can stay home.
I love you Aryssa. Never change who you are, always smile, and always thank God for what you have.
