SAHM

SAHM.... Stay at home mom.... I love that phrase :) the kiddos and I are having a great time. I recently joined a group from meetup.com that is made up of either sahm or working full/part time moms that can make an event on a calendar and invite everyone to come. I met 3 women at the mall last week to walk around and then let our kiddos play. There was another 2 yr old that aryssa had a lot of fun playing with. Then today we went to the library program, I was a little nervouse on how aryssa was going to be since I had never taken her to something structured, ie: sit down listen to book and participate.... Well she did great! I am excited to keep going and learn the songs they sing each week so that we can practice at home. Aryssa did great while the books were read and loved dancing and trying to sing along with the songs. I didn't talk to any other moms this time, but I think once we go more often (every Monday at 11am) then I can meet other moms that also go. This week I am preparing myself on being a single mom next week. Grant has to go to Tennessee next Tuesday through Saturday for work so it is all me with the kiddos. I already told my sister we need to do something that week so I can get out of the house and am not alone all the time. And because grant is going to be gone we went on a date Saturday night! We went and had hu hot for supper and then went to a comedy club. It was my first time leaving Carson, but I did great! My mom and dad came over and watched the kids, aryssa was so excited to hear that gramma and papa were coming. She played super hard with them and was pretty tired all Sunday :) It was nice to get out with grant too, no kids to distract us and being able to talk to each other. We were still home by 945pm, but with a 11 week old that was late enough! well my laundry needs switching and some dishes need to be put away... The kiddos and both sleeping and I am loving the quite so I might just sit here little while longer :)
